Laurene Allison Gunther
Retired partner Laurene Allison Gunther received her B.A. from Colgate University in 1975 (graduating Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and her J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1978. She was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1978. She is also admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court. She became associated with Stradley, Ronon, Stevens & Young in Philadelphia, where she worked in that firm's Tax Department between 1978 and 1982. She then joined the firm Diamond, Polsky & Bauer in Philadelphia as an associate, where she concentrated in estate planning and trust and estate administration between 1982 and 1994. She joined Alexander & Pelli as an associate in the fall of 1994.
Ms. Gunther is a member of the Philadelphia (Section on Probate and Trust Law), Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations (Section on Real Property, Probate and Trust Law) and the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council. She has served on the Executive Committee of the Section of Probate and Trust Law of the Philadelphia Bar Association. She has been a lecturer for the National Business Institute and lectures from time to time for various small groups on estate-related topics. Ms. Gunther retired from Alexander & Pelli in 2020.
